I certify on behalf of the City Council of the City of National City pursuant to
authority conferred by Resolution 2008-83 adopted on May 20th, 2008 that the
City of National City accepts the granting of an easement on Parcel No. 564-071-
09-00 for street purposes and consents to the recordation thereof by its
authorized officer.

OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
FROM PROPERTY OWNER ROY DI STEFANO,
DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF A STREET EASEMENT
FOR A PORTION OF LAND FOR STREET PURPOSES
AT 2901 LEONARD STREET, AND DEDICATING AND
NAMING THE PARCEL OF LAND AS LEONARD STREET
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that pursuant to
Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance, and
to record the following instrument conveying an interest real estate to the City of National City:

STREET EASEMENT dated April 29, 2008, from Roy Di Stefano (A.P.N. 564-071-
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows:
1. That Roy Di Stefano has conveyed the real property described in the attached
Exhibit "A" to the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY for right-of-way purposes.
2. That the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY desires that said property be dedicated for
public right-of-way purposes.
3. That the described real property in Exhibit "A" shall henceforth be known as a
portion of Leonard Street.

EXPLANATION
Mr. Roy Di Stefano, the owner of the property located at 2901 Leonard Street has submitted a notarized
copy of the Street Easement for a 5 foot street dedication for the city council's acceptance and approval.
The dedication is required for street widening for the installation of a sidewalk curb & gutter. The Street
Easement will be filed with the County Recorder. This Street Easement is a requirement for the issuance of
a building permit for a single family dwelling.
