part of any appliance provided the required fee is
paid for such appliance.
4. No fee shall be required for any such equipment
provided the required fee is paid for such equipment.
(1) For heating equipment outlets not grouped on a branch
circuit, including ranges, welding outfits, furnaces and
the like anc their connections and following fees shall
be paid:
Not more than 2 KW .50
Not more than 5 KW .75
Not more than 10 1.00
Over IC 1.00
Plus 5 cents for each additional KW or KVA over 10
(j) The fee for an electrical utility connection shall be
twenty-five cents (:a .25) for each such connection.
(k) For each set of service entrance conductors including one
(1) meter, the fees shall be as follows:
1. Entrance conductors:
Not larger than No. 1 :31.00
Not larger than 200 i.1CM 1.50
Not larger than 400 MCM 2.50
Larger than 500 i.1CP. 3.50
Plus 25 cents for each additional service meter
2. Fees for temporary services:
Construction pole assembly $1.50
Temporary service other than construction pole 1.50
(1) In addition to any other penalty provided in this code for
violations thereof, any person who has done any electrical
work without a permit where a permit is required by this
article, or who has caused any such work to be done without
a permit, shall pay a fee of ten dollars (>10.00) in addition
to the regular permit fee for inspection of such work.

UNINHABITED TERITORY, DESIGNATED "LOIS ANNEX-
ATION" TO THE CITY OF 'NATIC?JAL CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
-.HEREAS, on)che 1st day of July, !rJ58, the Council of the
City of National did pass and adopt Resolution No. 726E giving
notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory
to the City of National City, said territory being therein
designated as "Lois Annexation," said Resolution describing the
boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
',HE:2EAS, said Resolution No. 7266 did contain a notice of
the day, hour and place when and 'here the Council of the City
would hear protests made by any person owning real property
within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said
hearing being not less than forty (40) nor more than sixty (CC)
days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
'.iHEREAS, on the 12th day of August, 1958, at the hour of
2:00 P.i;., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said
Resolution No. 7266 for hearing protests to the said annexation,
the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made
to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had
not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the
territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized
assessment roll, nor by public and private owners of one-half of
the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as determined
by said legislative body; and
JHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of
National City; is uninhabited territory in the County of San
Diego, and does not consist wholly or partly of tide or submerged
lands owned by the State of California;
NCt'1, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of National
City does hereby approve the annexation of the territory here-
inafter described to the City cf National City, and does hereby
further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed
to the City of National City.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City
of National City is herein approved, is all that territory
situate in the County of San Diego, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
All that portion of 10 Acre Lots 6 and 7 in Quarter Section 152
of Rancho de la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166 filed
in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, Cali-
fornia, being also portions of 30th Street as shown on Map of
Budd Villa Tract according to 'ap No. 1067 filed in the Office
of said County Recorder and portions of Block 4 and alley in
Block 4 of Copeland's Subdivision, according to Vap thereof No.
978 filed in the Office of said County Recorder, and described
as fol lows:
I. Beginning at the point of intersection of the `'Jest line of
"D" Avenue with the South line of Block 4 of said Budd Villa
Tract;
2. Thence from said point of beginning Southerly along said
Test line of "D" Avenue as shown on said Map of Budd Villa
Tract and continuing along the :lest line of "D" Avenue as shown
on Map of Copeland's Subdivision, a distance of 330 feet to the
North line of 31st Street as shown on said Hap of Copeland's
Subdivision;
3. Thence Westerly along the North line of said 3lst Street 135
feet to the ':`lest line of the 20 foot ;ride alley in Block 4 of
said Copeland's Subdivision;
4. Thence Northerly along said 'Nest line and along the Northerly
extension of said ',lest line a distance of 330 feet to the inter-
section of said extension with the Southerly line of Block 4 of
said Budd Villa Tract;
5. Thence Easterly along said Southerly line 135 feet to the
point of beginning.

A Change Order is hereby recommended for the following work in the amount identified below:
Description of Change in the Contract
This Change Order will ADD 2% Latex to the slurry mix per Greenbook specifications at a lump sum cost of
$2,381 for the slurry being placed on National City Blvd. from 18th to 33rd Streets. See Attachment "A"
Cost Reconciliation
This change in the contract was reviewed and negotiated by and between the City Representatives and the
Contractor and represents the entire agreement for the work described herein and includes all costs
associated with the work including but not limited to manpower, equipment, labor, fees, taxes, insurance,
bonding, overhead, profit, etc. and there will be no other compensation. This Change Order hereby
incorporates the original contract and all its referenced documents' terms and conditions.
Justification for Change in Contract
This change is done at the direction and request of the City Traffic Engineer to provide a slurry with Latex
additive that is more suited to the commercial traffic on National City Blvd. The rubber tire roller will set and
compact the slurry to help eliminate shedding and casting of particles by accelerating the compaction by use
process. See Attachment "A"

Description:

CONDITIONS:

2. Monthly Progress Payments and Full Payment upon completion. Accounts are delinquent after 30 days, and they are subject to the maximum finance charge allowable by law.
3. Work to be done in accordance with plans, specifications, and quantities identified above. Koch -Armstrong General Engineering, Inc. shall be notified in writing prior to any proposed changes.
4.Subgrade to be taken from +\- .10' to balance and at or below optimum moisture before Koch -Armstrong General Engineering, Inc. begins work unless otherwise specified.
5. Any unusual conditions of subsoil encountered, such as buried slabs, underground piping, trash deposits, etc. shall be deemed cause for additional charges.
6. Required California Preliminary Lien information (California Civil Code Section 3097/3098) shall be provided to Koch -Armstrong General Engineering, Inc. before work begins.
7. Subject to Credit Approval and verification of California Preliminary Lien information.
8. Class 2 material if included is 3\4" recycled Class 2 per Caltrans Standard Specification Section 26 unless otherwise noted.
Acceptance:
