Reason/Purpose for this Change Order:
!A new waterbox design at 23rd and Cleveland was needed to meet SWPPP requirements for the project since
;the existing trees at this location had to be removed. The old waterbox design is now obsolete and replaced
with a new design via Change Order #23.
The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract:
;The Contractor shall not install the waterbox per line item #68, but rather per Change Order #23, and line item
!#68 is deleted from the contract.

By signing this Change Order the Contractor confines that he/she is completely familiar with its terms and conditions and has fairly negotiated
its price, terms and conditions. If this Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the equipment, materials and labor necessary to
provide a complete work as described above at that the price stated herein. Additionally, Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete
and represents all costs associated with the work, including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees,
bonds, insurance, profit, etc. and that there will be no further compensation. All of the terms and conditions of the orginal contract documents
are incorporated herein.

CHANGE ORDER No. 25

The alley north of 23rd Street is in a serious state of disrepair. The contract only requires the contractor to
repair the section of the alley where the rail was remove (center). This Change Order would repair both sides of
ithe alley away from the rail for the full length and prevent water ponding.
I The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract:
i For the alley from 23rd Street to the limits of the rail removal to the North, the Contractor shall layout grades for
;positive flow, excavate and prepare subgrade for the portion of the alley that was missing asphalt adjacent to the!
(MSI parking stalls and pave 4” of C2 AC, grind the Westerem edge for a more uniform (level) surface, lay down
la leveling AC course and then minimum 1" cap pave the entire length and width of the alley from 23rd to the
!Northerly limits to provide a smooth even surface with positive drainage throughout.
