Reason/Purpose for this Change Order: Due to new information gathered on the existing sewer main beneath the soccer field, it was determined that the 'new main can be relocated from under the field. The new alignment and grades are designed and delivered to ,the contractor. The City and contractor agree that the new sewer alignment will be done at existing line item ;prices for actual quantities places. The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract The Contractor shall perform all of the work necessary to install the new sewer main, laterals, manholes and connections per the drawing attached as exhibit "B". The change in quantities shall be those actually placed in the field and are represented on attachment A. The City and contractor agree that the contractor will be paid in accordance with the bid prices for each line item actually placed in the field and there shall be no deduction or addition to any line item or otherwise for the work completed. Further the new alignment allows for the installation of the new main to be done without pumping. In exchange, the contractor will upgrade the sewer main from 10" PVC to 12" PVC at no additional cost to the City. All work shall conform to the contract documents. The amount shown on this change order is for estimate purposes only. The actual changes to quantities shall be shown on the respective line items and shall be paid accordingly. If this Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the equipment, materials and labor necessary to provide a complete work as described above at that the price stated herein. Additionally, Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with the work, including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees, bonds, insurance, profit, etc. and that there will be no further compensation.
