This supplemental agreement provides for an additional not -to -exceed amount of $2,800.00 to prepare a Visual Impact Analysis for submittal to Caltrans per the scope of work defined in the Attachment. Visual Impact Analysis The assessment will describe project features, impacts and mitigation requirements and will include several photographs prepared by the licensed landscape architect of record. We have budgeted 24 hours to complete this task. Date aryam 93a11a1si.P .E Date Consultant Project Manager Development Services Director / City Engineer JN: 55-100683.001 CONSULTING ADDITIONAL WORK REQUEST SUMMARY #3 8th Street Safety Enhancement Project Client: City of National City Work Requested By: Steve Manganiello Estimated Fee for Additional Work: $ 7,600 April 12, 2011 Summary of Additional Work: RBF Consulting will prepare as -built drawings for intersection and roadway segments from Harbison Avenue to Palm Avenue. A three lane section was striped from conceptual drawings prepared by RBF in November 2010. Task 1. Project Verification of Conditions Review and confirm striped improvements for the project roadway segments and intersections to ensure they are consistent with concept drawings and the current California Department of Transportation Standard Plans and Specifications, and the latest edition of the Califomia MUTCD. Task 2. As -Built Plans Prepare as -built signing/striping plans for the project area. Our plans will be prepared at 20 scale (1" = 20') using AutoCAD drafting software on 24" x 36" City of National City Title Block Mylar. Our plans will include all new/existing signs and striping, pavement markings, pavement legends, sign and striping removals. At the project limits to the east, west, north and/or south, we will reference in existing striping based on our field review. We anticipate that our signing and striping plan set will contain three sheets. Task 3. Raised Median Plans Prepare construction drawings for three (3) raised median refuge areas at the identified locations along 8th Street. Our plans will be prepared at 20 scale (1" = 20') using AutoCAD drafting software on 24" x 36" City of National City Title Block Mylar. It is assumes these refuge areas will be stamped concrete of concrete unit pavers. As an optional task, landscaping of the refuge median areas will be review for potential planting and irrigation. If desire by the City, a separate scope and fee can be provided.
