Reason/Purpose for this Change Order:
City reviewed the designed irrigation system at 14th and National City Blvd. and decided to have the
contractor match the existing irrigation system in lieu of installing per plans. This would make future
maintenance of the system more practical for city crews. The continuity between the two systems would also
allow managing the irrigation water cycles more efficient.
The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract:
The contractor design built an irrigation system to math the existing system adding an additional irrigation
valve and conventional spray heads.

The contractor had to remove existing vegetation not originally identified on the plans, excavate and install
additional mainline and backfill and repair as directed.

Reason/Purpose for this Change Order:
Due to an existing power pole located at the second proposed median crossing on 8th St. the 1 B pole had to
be relocated requiring the installation of a separate pedestrian push button to comply with ADA specification
located within four feet of the ADA ramp.
The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract:
Contractor was requested to saw cut the existing sidewalk, remove and place a pedestrian push button
footing and pole, saw cut existing roadway and install communication between the 1B pole and the new
pedestrian push button.
