HomeMy WebLinkAboutACCO Engineering Systems - Kimball Tower Boiler Replacement 13-05 - CIP No. 13-05 - Change Order No. 7 - 2014CALIFORNIA -+ NATIONAL CI V L— INCOAPORATED KIMBALL TOWER BOILER REPLACEMENT PROJECT CIP No. 13-05 Contractor: ACCO Engineered Systems CHANGE ORDER NO.7 September 30, 2015 Reason/Purpose for this Change Order: Loss of hot water on the upper floors were identified by the supervisor of building maintenance at the Kimball Towers. Several measures in resolving this issue were implemented and it was determined that allowing the mixing valve to be incorporated in the system decreases the water pressure and flow. According to BSE (designers), additional design work to resolve the issue must be done in order to prevent the loss of water pressure and flow in the system. The analysis and design work will take several days to be prepared for the contractor to continue their work. This Change Order will take the project to completion with the last day of work on 9/23/15. The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract: The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall continue the work within the contract days including the days added in the agreement of this Change Order. Twenty (43) additional contract days will be added to the project which will take original completion date from 7/24/15 to 9/23/15. This is a no cost change order. If this Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the equipment, materials and labor necessary to provide a complete work as described above at that the price stated herein. Additionally, Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with the work, including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees, bonds, insurance, profit, etc. and that there will be no further compensation. All of the terms and conditions of the original contract documents are incorporated herein.
