Oa C_, RESOLUTION NO. 2017 — 20 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY GRANTING A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR AN EASEMENT TO THRIFTY OIL COMPANY ON A PARCEL OF LAND DUE TO THE PREVIOUS ABANDONMENT OF A SEWER MAIN WHEREAS, Thrifty Oil Company is the owner of a parcel of land located east of, and adjacent to, 1606 East Plaza Boulevard on the southeast corner of the intersection of Palm Avenue and East Plaza Boulevard with an existing sewer easement on the property; and WHEREAS, on March 29, 1968, plans were approved, and a new sewer main was constructed realigning the sewer into Plaza Boulevard and plugging and abandoning of the existing sewer main in the easement; and WHEREAS, the sewer main is no longer used and the easement is an unnecessary burden on the property; and WHEREAS, Thrifty Oil Company is requesting that the City of National City quit claim the abandoned sewer main easement for future development of the property.
