Reason/Purpose for this Change Order:
Two (2) interpretive panels proposed to be installed at the MTS trolley station located at 8th Street and 24th
Street will not be installed by the contractor due to additional logistical and permitting processes. The City
Engineer directed that the contractor will instead provide the hardware and sign panels to National City staff and
crew who will then install the two signs at the stated locations.

with the locations described previously. The contractror shall provide a credit for the installation associated with
these two (2) interpretive signs. The change order provides a credit to the City in the amount of $391.38.

Reason/Purpose for this Change Order::
Four (4) existing signages that were installed needs to be revised due to corrections on their contents. Two (2)
downtown directional signages, one (1) Old Town directional signage, and one (1) Marina district directional
signage will need to be corrected for this change order. Corrections for the signages are provided on the
attachment provided (see attached). The contractor requests for an additional 10 working days to complete this
work.
The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract:
The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall provide the changes and install the signages with the
revised directions. Four (4) directional signages will be revised and reinstalled as per the attached document.
The new end date for completing this project will be November 6, 2017, The agreed upon price for all cost
associated is $6,752.20

Reason/Purpose for this Change Order:
After the installation of the original proposed banners, it was determined that (21) additional banners were
added to the sign package. These additional banners were requested to be originally double banners but were
changed to single pole banners. This change order also includes the installation and fabrication of and additional
interpretive panel for Morgan Square site. The contractor requests for an additional 25 working days to procure
and install the items described above.
The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract:
The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall fabricate and install the requested additional
signages per the description provided above. The contractor shall install Twenty-one (21) additional banners and
one (1) interpretive panel sign. The new end date for completing this project is December 14, 2017. The agreed
upon price for all cost associated is $8,653,59.

Reason/Purpose for this Change Order:
Upon the review of the currently installed signages in the city, the City Engineer determined that few additional
signages needed to be installed to improve the wayfinding system in National City. Additional five (5) directional
signages were requested to be installed by the City to be installed in the various locations. The contractor
requests for additional 31 working days to complet this work.
The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract:
The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall fabricate and install the requested additional
signages per the description provided above. The contractor shall install five (5) directional signages per the
locations provided by the designer (see attached). The new end date for completing this project is January 31,
2018. The agreed upon price for all cost associated is $17,215.02.
