BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AND
COUNTYWIDE MECHANICAL SYSTEMS, INC.
THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO EXTEND THE AGREEMENT is entered into this
3rd day of July, 2018, by and between the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation
("CITY"), and COUNTYWIDE MECHANICAL SYSTEMS, INC., a California corporation
(the "CONTRACTOR").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the CITY and the CONTRACTOR entered into an Agreement on September
12, 2017 ("the Agreement"), wherein the CONTRACTOR agreed to provide City-wide, on -site
HVAC service, repairs and parts as -needed, for a not -to -exceed amount of $20,000.
WHEREAS, on January 18, 2018, a First Amendment to the Agreement was entered into
for additional repairs required to maintain the City's HVAC system. The First Amendment
increased the not -to -exceed amount by $25,000, for a total not -to -exceed amount of $45,000.
WHEREAS, the CITY and the CONTRACTOR desire to enter into this Second
Amendment to extend the Agreement upon the same terms and conditions for an additional one
(1) year term.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has authority to approve any extension of the Agreement.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The Agreement entered into on September 12, 2017, shall be amended to extend the term
of the Agreement for one (1) year, for the period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, for
a total not -to -exceed amount of $45,000.
2. The parties further agree that with the foregoing exception, each and every term and
provision of the Agreement dated September 12, 2017, shall remain in full force and
effect.

Extend the Agreement on the date and year first above written.
