Home My WebLink About2018 CON National School District - Swim LessonsFIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AND NATIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is entered into this 26th day of July, 2018, by and between the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation ("CITY"), and the NATIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, a local government organization (the "APPLICANT"). RECITALS WHEREAS, the CITY and the APPLICANT entered into an Agreement on June 7, 2017 ("the Agreement") wherein the APPLICANT agreed to pay for its third grade students attending APPLICANTS' schools to take swim lessons. WHEREAS, the swim lessons will be operated by EXOS at Las Palmas Park pool, located at 1800 East 22nd Street, National City, CA, 91950. WHERAS the APPLICANT agreed to pay the CITY $40,000 to provide such swim lessons under the Agreement. WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement, pursuant to Section 1 of the Agreement, to extend the term for one (1) year. AGREEMENT NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree: 1. Pursuant to Section 1 of the Agreement (entered into on June 7, 2017), the Agreement shall be amended to extend the term for one (1) year, becoming effective on July 1, 2018. The amended duration of this Agreement is for the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. 2. The parties further agree that with the foregoing exception, each and every term and provision of the Agreement dated June 7, 2017, shall remain in full force and effect.
