HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019 CON Project Professionals - Project Support Services CIP Program - Fiber Optic Traffic Signal Interconnect Expansion - Amendment #1FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AND PROJECT PROFESSIONALS CORPORATION FOR THE FIBER OPTIC TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECT EXPANSION PROJECT This First Amendment to the Agreement is entered into this 20th day of February, 2019 by and between the City of National City, a municipal corporation ("CITY"), and Project Professionals Corporation (the "CONSULTANT"). RECITALS WHEREAS, the CITY and the CONSULTANT entered into an agreement on June 6, 2017, ("the Agreement") through the adoption of City of National City Council Resolution No. 2017-88, wherein the CONSULTANT agreed to provide on -call project support services for the CITY'S CIP, including, but not limited to, project management, engineering and contract management, architecture, land surveying, environmental compliance, assessment and remediation, geotechnical, soils and materials testing, plan reviews, constructability reviews, and community outreach. WHEREAS, the CITY and the CONSULTANT entered into a project specific supplemental agreement ("Supplemental Agreement"), Caltrans Exhibit 10-R, on May 30, 2018 as required to satisfy to satisfy Federal Highway Administration grant requirements. WHEREAS, to continue work on the Project, the parties desire to increase the not - to -exceed amount by $7,894.95, for a total Supplemental Agreement amount of $105,387.37. AGREEMENT NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree to amend the Supplemental Agreement entered into on May 30, 2018 as follows: 1. Increase the not -to -exceed amount by $7,894.95, for a total Supplemental Agreement amount of $105,387.37. 2. The parties further agree that with the foregoing exception, each and every term and provision of the Supplemental Agreement dated May 30, 2018, shall remain in full force and effect. <signatures on next page> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment on the date and year first above written.
