Paradise Creek Park Site Remediation and Improvements, CIP No. 18-07 - Change Orders #9 and #10 - 2019Paradise Creek Park Site Remediation & Improvements CIP NO. 18-07 Contractor: WHILLOCK CONTRACTING CHANGE ORDER NO. 9 April 17, 2019 Reason/Purpose for this Change Order: The existing fence on the north side of the project near the site office at 302 W. 19th Street was being utilized as a site perimiter control. The contractor was mobilized and working with handling and removing impacted soil adjacent to the existing fence, at that time it was determined that it would be cost efficient to have the contractor perform the following work; demo the existing perimiter fence, remove and grade the existing slope to match impacted soil elevations and install temporary construction fence and windscreen along the entrance of the site. The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract: The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall proceed with demoing the existing fence, grading the slope and installing temporary fence with windscreen along the northern end of the project site. This work is agreed by the City and the contractor to proceed under T&M and not to exceed $6,000. The additional grading and removal of soil is under agreement by the City and the Contractor to be paid for as a line item adjustment under Bid Line Item #11 Impacted Soil Handling (Export). The additional temporary fence and windscreen is under agreement by the City and the contractor to be paid for as a line item adjustment under Bid Line Item #15 Temporary Construction Fencing with Windscreen. If this Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the equipment, materials and labor necessary to provide a complete work as described above at that the price stated herein. Additionally, Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with the work, including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees, bonds, insurance, profit, etc. and that there will be no further compensation. Excavating and removing the impacted soil in these 18 locations will allow for no impacted soil handling in the follow on project. The City of National City and Contractor agree to the following change to the original Contract: The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall proceed with surveying, staking, and excavating the new 18 light locations at an agreed lump sum price of $2,037.
