This change order is not effective until approved by the City. Time adjustment: Sixty (60) working days are added to contract time due to unforeseen delays for the delivery of traffic signal materials and equipment. Supporting Information: It was determined that the soil conditions were not suitable to support the existing standard when drilling for the new foundation at the South West corner of Highland Avenue and Walmart Driveway. To be able to safely excavate & install the new foundation, a new temporary signal will be implemented in the intersection as determined by the engineer. See attachment for Change Order No.5 for the breakdown of the labor, materials, and equipment included. Time Adjustment: It is recommended that sixty (60) working days be added to the contract time. Cost Adjustment: The total cost associated for this work is $21,979.67 excluding the implementation of traffic control which will be included in a separate change order and will be measured through a T&M basis.
