Clear and grub in its entirety the adjacent slope between 22"d street and Paradise Creek. 2. Furnish and install fence posts along existing concrete wall and bottom of slope between 22"d street and Paradise Creek. 3. Furnish and install approximately 120 LF of 6' tall Galvanized Chain Link Fence per SDRSD M-6 & M-20. 4. Furnish and install one (1) 6' high x 8' wide galvanized double swing chain link gates per SDRSD M-5. Supporting Information: Existing conditions along Paradise Creek, adjacent to 22nd street, allow for pedestrians to enter sensitive wildlife areas. Initial design had this area to be fenced off in the follow-on park improvements project. To benefit from the mobilized contractor on site and to minimize the disturbance of the creek and adjacent wildlife areas, it was determined to install approximately 120 linear feet of 6 foot tall chain link fence and an 8 foot wide gate at the bottom of the slope between 22"d street and Paradise Creek during this phase of construction. The chain link fence will serve as a protective barrier for the creek and the 8 foot wide gate will be used by City crews to access the creek for future maintenance. Attachment A — Chain Link Fence Exhibit Attachment B — Cost Breakdown Attachment C — San Diego Regional Standard Drawings (M-5, M-6 & M-20) Time Adjustment: No additional days are to be added to the contract time. Cost Adjustment: Clearing and grubbing, the procurement/installation of 6-foot tall Galvanized Chain Link Fence and procurement/installation of 6-foot tall x 8-foot wide galvanized double swing chain link gate are captured under an agreed lump sum price of $10,380.67.
