Change Order No. 3 provides for:
The upsizing of 1 Gallon Plant Species to 5 Gallon Plant Species.
Supporting Information:
The Landscape Architect brought to the attention of the project team that there is limited availability of 1
Gallon Plant Species from our local nurseries. As a means to continue with the same plant species, the
Landscape Architect requested to change the plant species size from 1 Gallon to 5 Gallon. The specific plant
species and quantities that will be upsized are the following;
• Arctostaphlyos 'Emerald Carpet' — 313
• Baccharis Pilularis 'Pigeon Point' —149
• Ceanothus 'Yankee Point' — 83
• Leymus 'Canyon Prince' — 237
Time Adjustment:
It is recommended that 0 working days be added to the contract time.
Cost Adjustment:
Original Bid line item #57 — Shrubs, 1 Gallon captured the 4 plant species identified above. The total amount
for the original 1 gallon plant species is a total amount of $9,287.37 which will be deleted from the contract.
The upsizing of these 4 plant species to 5 gallon is a total lump sum amount of $9,672.77.

This Change Order modifies Contractor's and the City's obligations and rights under the
abovementioned contract. This change order is not effective until approved by the City.
Time adjustment:
Zero (0) working days are added to contract time to furnish and plant 5 Gallon Shrubs.
Cost of Change Order:
The City and the Contractor agree that the contractor shall upsize the following
plant species and quantities from 1 gallon to 5 gallon shrubs;
- Arctostaphlyos 'Emerald Carpet'- 313
- Baccharis Pilularis 'Pigeon Point' -149
- Ceanothus 'Yankee Point'-83
- Leymus 'Canyon Prince' - 237
The City and the Contractor agree that the original Bid Line Item #57 - Shrubs, 1
Gallon captured the 4 plant species identified above. The total amount for the
original 1 gallon plant species is a total amount of $9,287.37 which will be deleted
from the contract. The City and the Contract agree that the contractor shall upsize
the 1 gallon plant species to 5 gallon plant species for an agreed upon lump sum
price of $9,672.77.

By signing this Change Order the Contrac •r confirms that he/she is completely familiar with and has fairly
negotiated its price, terms and conditions. If this Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the
equipment, materials and labor necessary to provide a complete work as described above at that the price
stated herein. Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with
the work, including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees, bonds,
insurance, profit, etc. and that there will be no further compensation. All of the terms and conditions of the
original contract documents are incorporated herein. The signer for the Contractor confirms that he/she is
authorized to bind the Contractor to this Change Order.
