Supporting Information: After running all power, communications, and low voltage cables throughout the park and community garden, the contractor identified potential risks within the community garden shed that would expose the cables within the shed. After review, it was determined that a pull box needed to be installed to safely collect all cables from their conduits and house the various cables within the shed. Housing the cables will eliminate exposure to anybody entering the community garden shed and will increase the lifespan of the cables. This pull box will allow the City to properly maintain the electrical system for the park. Time Adjustment: No additional days were added to the contract. Cost Adjustment: The work described above was tracked under a time and material basis. The total price for this work is $959.31. This change order is not effective until approved by the City. Time adjustment: Zero (0) working days are added to contract time for the procurement and installation of 1 electrical pull for power and electrical cables within the community garden shed. Cost of Change Order: The City and the Contractor agreed that the contractor shall proceed under a time and material basis to procure and install one (1) 24"x24" NEMA Electrical Pull Box to for all power and low voltage cables within the shed. All associated work, labor, equipment and materials required to complete this work totals to a total price of $959.31.
