The parties hereby agree as follows: 1. Description of Service: Provide DJ/MC, 2 JBL Powered Speakers, 1 JBL Sub Speaker, ddj-sz and laptop to mix music, 2 wireless microphones, 1 Master Soundboard, and 1 Facade to block DJ Booth. Date: May 21, 2022 Arrival time 9:00 am, Start Time: 10:00 am End Time: 2:00 pm Location: Kimball Park, E 12th Street, National City, CA, 91950 3. Term: The term of this Agreement shall commence on the 21 st day of May, 2022, and shall terminate on the 21st day of May, 2022, unless earlier terminated pursuant to Section 11, . Compensation: The following shall be the terms of payment to CONTRACTOR for services rendered: Total Fee for Service: $650.00 (six hundred and fifty dollars) Payment. Terms: Payment will be provided on May 21 t, 2022 _ Method of Payment; The compensation provided in Secti0n 4 shall be paid in full upon completion of services rendered. , Interest of CONTRACTOR: It is understood and agreed that the CONTRACTOR shall be an independent contractor and not an agent or employee of the CITY. As such, the CONTRACTOR is not entitled to any of the rights, benefits, or privileges of a CITY employee including, but not limited to, medical and Workers' Compensation Insurance. _ Indemnity: The CONTRACTOR agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of National City, its officers, officials, agents, employees, and volunteers against and from any and all liability, loss, damages to property, injuries to, or death of any person or persons, and reasonable attorneys' fees, and defense costs, of any kind or nature, resulting from or arising out of the CONTRACTOR'S performance or other obligations under this Agreement. Insurance: The City of National City requires all contractors to provide Commercial General Liability of at least 1,O0O,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in aggregate and Commercial Auto Liability of at least 1,000,000. The contractor must provide a separate Additional Insured Endorsement for each of these coverages in favor of "The City of National City, its elected officials, officers, agents, and employees_" Also, the contractor must provide Workers Compensation coverage to meet California statutory limits, plus employers' liability coverage of 1100010OO per accident.
