The additional scope also includes setting pavers in mortar above the 30'x3' concrete bike rack pad. Payment for this change order was by force account. Supporting ing Information: After installing pavers per the approved plan at approximate station 1+3.14, the Contractor identified an aesthetic issue with aligning the new pavers with the existing pavers. Installing the pavers per the plan would result in an angular pattern not congruent with the new improvements and would require additional cut pavers. The Contractor suggested removing the pavers, placing a paver band and realigning the new pavers to the easterly edge of the new improvements. The Project Manager agreed that the solution suggested allowed for the pavers to fit the new improvements and still tie-in to the existing pavers. In accordance with the bike rack revisions provided by Neri Landscaping on November 17, 2022, the Contractor was directed to mortar the pavers to the concrete pad installed for the bike racks in Change Order 46. imeAdu,st er t: One (1) additional working day is being added to the contract for the time necessary to remove the installed pavers prior to realignment. Cost A f us tmen t,. The additional cost for this change in the scope of work has been agreed upon at a lump sum price of 4,45.44. The cost for this work was determined by force account. The pay method and amount have been reviewed by the Project Manager and are considered fair and reasonable. This change order is not effective until approved by the City. Time adjustment: One (1) additional working day is to be added to the Contract. Additionally, mortar was placed between the pavers and the 30' x 3' x 4" concrete bike rack pad. The total amount for all labor, material, equipment and all other associated work is $4,495.44.
