Subject: Change Order No. 7
Change Order iyo. 7 provides for:
Grounding the existing generator in the basement by procuring and installing (1) ##1/o grounding
electrode in 31' conduit from generator to MSB, bonding #1./0 grounding electrode to generator and
MSB grounding electrode •system and installing (1) 3/4" conduit and # /0 bare copper from existing
grounding electrode system in MSB and bonding to building steel and cold water piping.
Supporting Information:
l l=l #6 referenced that the existing generator does not have a grounding electrode as shown on plan
sheet (E-003). As directed by Randall Lamb, the Contractor r is to ground the existing generator to existing
ground rods at the switchboard MSB and to existing cold water piping.
Time Adjustmen t:
Zero (0) additional working days are to be added to the Contract as the additional
the critical path of the approved schedule.
Cost Adjustment:
Cost was determined by force account analysis for a total of 4,790.59.

This Charge Order modifies Contractor's and the Cityis obligations and rights under the
abovernentioned contract. This change order is not effective until approved by the City.
Time adjustment:
Zero (0) additional working clays are to be added to the Contract as the additional work did not affect
the critical path of the approved schedule.
Cost of Change Order:
The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall ground the existing
generator in the basement by procuring and installing (1) 1/0 grounding electrode
in 3" conduit from generator to MSB, bonding h/0 grounding electrode to
generator and MSB grounding electrode system and installing (1) 3/4" conduit and
3 0 bare copper from existing grounding electrode system in MSB and bonding to
building steel and cold water piping. The total amount for all labor, material,
equipment and all other associated work is $4,790.59.

By signing this Change Order the Contractor confirms that he/she is completely familiar with and has fairly
negotiated its price, terms and conditions. If this Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the
equipment, materials and labor necessary to provide a complete work as described above at that the price
stated herein. Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with
the work, including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees, bonds,
insurance, profit, etc. and that there will be no further compensation. All of the terms and conditions of the
original contract documents are incorporated herein. The .signer for the Contractor confirms that he/she is
authorized to bind the Contractor to this Change Order.
