Chanae Order No. 1 provides for:
The removal and replacement of existing waterproofing and joint sealant around the north gate storage room
sidewalk.
Payment for this change order will be as agreed upon at a lump sum price.
Supporting orting information:
Following a rain event on May 4`r'`, Salvador Gil of the National City Police Department identified a leak issue under
the north gate storage room. After discussingwith the Contractor, it was determined that the existing grade of the
sidewalk surrounding the facility sloped inwards towards the building causing the water to drain into and under
the facility. Additionally, the existingwaterproofing displayed several cracks and signs of deterioration.. The joint
sealant surrounding the facility was also cracked and easily stripped away from the building. The Contractor
recommended removing the existing waterproofing, installing polycoat polyprime as a thin set material to direct
water away from the facility and then installing pedestrian traffic waterproofing.
Time Adjustment:
Zero (0) working days are to be added to the Contract.
Cost djcrstment:
The additional cost for this change has been agreed upon at a lump sum price of , 00.00.
The pay method and amount have been reviewed by the Project Manager and are considered fair and reasonable. The
supporting documentation is on file with the project records.

vertical joints. The total amount for all labor, material, equipment, and all other associated work is
