Change Order No. 9 provides for:
Additional costs for traffic control during the installation of additional pedestrian ramps at the intersection of Plaza
Boulevard and L Avenue.
Payment for this change order will be as agreed upon at a lurnp sum price.
Supporting information:
During the initial installation of the pedestrian ramps on Plaza Boulevard, the Contractor identified an issue with
the alignment of the pedestrian ramps with the existing crosswalks. The existing traffic signal poles did not allow
enough roofer for the pedestrian ramps on the north east and south east corners to install an ADA compliant
landings, To be ADA compliant, the Contractor was directed to install additional ped ramps away from the existing
traffic signal poles and to realign the crosswalks to meet the proposed pedestrian ramp layout. The additional
costs for this change in the scope of work was for the traffic control needed by the subcontractor to remobilize to.

Cost Adjustment:
The ddditional cost for this change in the scope of work has been agreed upon at a lump sum price of $3 774. 5.
The pay method and amount have been reviewed by the Project Manager and are considered fair and reasonable. The
supporting documentation is on file with the project records.

The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall proceed with providing additional traffic
controls for the installation of additional pedestrian ramps at the intersection of Plaza Boulevard and L
Avenue. The additional work includes but is not limited to flagging for traffic control setup and placing
