Change Order No. 14 provides for:
Surface mounting the bike racks by "ARTS" to the pavers as per the revised detail E on sheet L1,2.
Payment for this change order will be as agreed upon at a lump sum price.

As described in change orders #6 and , the installation of the bike racks needed to be changed due to the hike
racks requiring surface mounting. The original plans included bike racks being installed in a shallow footing
beneath the paver surface. However, after discovering that the bike racks were surface mounted, Neri Landscape
Architecture directed the Contractor to surface mount the bike racks using tamper -resistant anchor bolts as shown
on detail E on sheet L1,2 on November 11, 2022.
Section 30-,1 of the contract special provisions states that payment for "Bike Rack By 'ARTS' Center" shall
include full compensation for the coordination and installation of the ARTS bike racks. As the installation type,
details, foundation, and bike racks were all changed by the designer from the originally bid line item "Bike Rack —
By 'ARTS' Center" the Contractor agreed to a lump sum price for the coordination and surface mounted installation
of the bike racks.
Time Adjustment:
Zero (0) additional working days are to be added to the Contract.
Cost Adjustment:
The additional cost for this change in the scope of work has been agreed upon at a lump sum price of 4,4 9.09.
The cost for this change in the work accounts for all labor, equipment, materials and all other work associated with
this change order.

The pay method and amount have been reviewed by the Project Manager and are considered fair and reasonable. The
supporting documentation is on file with the project records.

This Change Order modifies Contractor's and the Cit s obligations and rights under the abovernentioned
contract. This change order is not effective until approved by the City.
Time adjustment:
Zero (0) additional working days are to be added to the Contract.
Cost of Change Order:
The City and the Contractor agree that the Contractor shall proceed with surface mounting the bike
racks by "ARTS" to the pavers as per the revised detail E on sheet L1.2 using tamper -resistant anchor
bolts. The additional work includes but is not limited to sourcing anchor bolts, coordinating bike rack
selection with the City, loading and transporting bike racks from city yard, drilling andsurface
mounting the bikeracks, and repairing damaged pavers during drilling. The total amount for all labor,
material, equipment and all other associated work is 4,439.09.

By signing this Change Order the Co • ractor co rms that he/she Is completely familiar with and has fairly
negotiated its price, terms and conditions. If thi Change Order is approved, Contractor will provide all of the
equipment, materials and labor necessary to p vide a complete work as described above at that the price
stated herein. Contractor confirms that the price is fair and complete and represents all costs associated with
the work, including but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, overhead, fees, bonds,
insurance, profit, etc. and that there will be no further compensation. All of the terms and conditions of the
original contract documents are incorporated herein. The signer for the Contractor confirms that he/she is
authorized to bind the Contractor to this Change Order.
