BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AND
ALEXANDRA INVESTMENTS, INC. DBA ANGELO'S TOWING & RECOVERY
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is entered into this 1 st day of
October, 2023, by and between the CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation
("CITY"), and ALEXANDRA INVESTMENTS, INC. DBA ANGELO'S TOWING
RECOVERY (the "CONTRACTOR").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the CITY and the CONTRACTOR entered into an Agreement on August 25,
2021 ("the Agreement"), wherein the CONTRACTOR agreed to provide towing and impound
services for the City of National City Police Department for the period of October 1, 2021 through
September 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the original terms of the Agreement allowed for the Agreement ' to be
extended by mutual agreement upon the sae terms and conditions for three additional one (1)
year terms approved in writing by the Chief of Police; and
WHEREAS, EAS, the Chief oPolice, by . this First Amendment, approves and confirms renewal
of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the agreement for the first of three possible
extensions,. effective October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024, on the same terms and
conditions as the rAgreemnt.
AGREEMENT
NOW;. THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree that the Agreement entered into on August
25, 2021 for the term of October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2023, shall be extended for one
year, effective October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024.
The parties further agree that each and every term and provision of the Agreement dated
August 25, 2021, shall remain in full force and effect.
TIC WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to the
Agreement on the date and year first above written.
